he Monterey County Board of Supervisors approved California American Water’s desalination plant permit by a 3-2 vote, denying Marina Coast, Public Water Now appeals after all-day hearing.
SALINAS — Given the importance of and interest in California American Water’s proposed Monterey Peninsula desalination project, it was little surprise the throng that showed up for Monday’s showdown over the controversial project.
