Drought Resistant

Desalination is  Immune to Drought

The amount of freshwater on our planet is finite. The idea that the water in your glass has been reused repeatedly for thousands of years is essentially true. As our population grows, however, feeding and housing that population becomes a delicate balance between protecting our natural resources while sustainably providing the amount of those resources needed to live.

Every form of water recycling or purification process requires energy.  In fact, more than 20 percent of the energy used in California is done to treat and move water around the state and around our communities.   MPWSP uses the most advanced and efficient technologies available to treat the water.
